BABCNE plans events throughout the year to bring members together regularly for mutual benefit in reaching their business goals. In designing events, we aim to provide opportunities both for networking and enjoyment. They include:
- Formal lunch meetings and receptions with prominent guest speakers from both the US & UK business and government communities.
- Informational seminars, breakfasts, and receptions.
- Membership showcase events enabling members to present information on their companies to other members in a congenial atmosphere. International networking evenings.
Programs include: The Speaker Event Program
Facilitates members meeting US & UK business and government leaders at lunches, receptions, and seminars. The program provides:
- Company sponsorship & promotional opportunities through Council events, publications, and electronic link-ups
- Access to a transatlantic audience through affiliates in the US, UK, Canada, Puerto Rico, and Mexico.
The Prestige Venue Reception Program
Enables members to network or entertain their corporate clients at unusual, prestigious, or high profile locations.
The Annual Christmas Lunch & Golf Tournament
Provide opportunities for corporate entertainment and networking with other members iand their guests in an informal setting.
Member-to-Member Program
Provides opportunities for members to raise their profile through the sponsorship of a planned BABCNE event, the creation of a special event, or the platforming of a speaker of note.
We aim to meet the needs of Member businesses of all sizes and thus plan a varied program including informational seminars on areas of interest to Small Company members, such as "Doing Business Using the Internet." The annual Members Showcase and Golf Tournament, cruises, and other informal and celebratory gatherings are typical of annual calendar listings.
Leadership in the Global Business Alliance of New England, Inc.
BABCNE is a founding member of the Global Business Alliance of New England (GBANE). As such, it collaborates with other New England-based international business associations on events that increase international networking opportunities for members. GBANE is spearheaded by BABCNE's Executive Director. |
